A solenidade de instala\u00e7\u00e3o da Justi\u00e7a Federal em Erechim foi realizada no dia 17 de maio de 2005, conduzida pelo Desembargador Federal Nylson Paim de Abreu e pela Ju\u00edza Federal Salise Monteiro Sanchotene, Diretora do Foro da Justi\u00e7a Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.<\/p><p>O primeiro Juiz e Diretor de Foro da Subse\u00e7\u00e3o Judici\u00e1ria foi Luiz Carlos Cervi. A popula\u00e7\u00e3o passou a contar com o servi\u00e7o mais pr\u00f3ximo, sem a necessidade dos deslocamentos que ocorriam at\u00e9 a cidade de Passo Fundo.<\/p><p>Ao final do primeiro ano de trabalho, a Subse\u00e7\u00e3o Judici\u00e1ria contabilizou aproximadamente cinco mil e quinhentos (5.500) processos judiciais distribu\u00eddos.<\/p><p>Com o passar dos anos e com o aumento da demanda, foi necess\u00e1ria a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de mais uma Vara Federal \u2014 Vara do Juizado Especial Federal C\u00edvel e Previdenci\u00e1rio, atual 2\u00aa Vara Federal de Erechim. Implantada pela <a href=\"https:\/\/memoria.jfrs.jus.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Res-111-2-Vara.pdf\">Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00ba 111\/2012 do TRF4<\/a>, foi instalada em 06 de fevereiro de 2013. Iniciando suas atividades j\u00e1 com um volume expressivo de processos redistribu\u00eddos da 1\u00aa Vara, foi necess\u00e1rio uni\u00e3o e empenho da equipe da 2\u00aa Vara para o sucesso da nova
